If you’re browsing

On this site we collect:

• Your email address, if you join our email list through the welcome offer pop-up or a launch-list form. See “Our email list and the welcome offer” below.
• Basic usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type — through Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our public website and improve its navigation and usability. Clarity collects interaction and technical data, including pages visited, clicks, scrolling, browser and device information, and creates heatmaps and session replays.

Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft receives this data and may also use it for its own purposes, including Microsoft Advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We configure Clarity to mask personal information and exclude account, payment, and administrative pages. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, shipping addresses, payment details, or resale certificates to Clarity. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and California are asked first, and Clarity stays off unless they accept it. Everywhere else Clarity starts when you visit, and you can turn it off at any time in Clarity settings. We also keep it off when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Your choice does not prevent you from shopping or using your account.

If you buy directly on this website

To take and deliver your order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number if you give one. We also keep what you ordered, what you paid, the sales tax charged, and your tracking number.

We use this only to fulfill and ship your order, send your order and shipping emails, handle returns and support, and keep the tax and accounting records the law requires. Buying from us doesn’t add you to any marketing list.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our systems. Stripe also uses your address to calculate sales tax, and its own privacy policy covers what you give it at checkout.

Where your visit came from. If you arrive through a link we’ve tagged for a campaign, such as a link in a TikTok bio, we remember the tag in your browser for up to 30 days. When you place an order, we store the tag with it so we know which link brought the order. The tag describes the link, not you.

Google Analytics also receives the steps you take when you shop (adding an item to your cart, starting checkout, and completing a purchase), with the products, an order ID, and the order total. We don’t send it your name, email address, or shipping address.

Our email list and the welcome offer

If you sign up on this site (the pop-up that offers 10% off your first order, or a launch-list form), we store your email address, the date, the page you signed up on, the text you agreed to, which product you asked about if there is one, and the campaign tag of the link you came from if there is one. We use it to email you your welcome code, announce new products, and send occasional care tips and offers. We don’t sell the list. If you only asked to be told about a specific product launch, we use your address for that notice, and we send promotions only to people who signed up through the welcome offer.

The welcome offer is 10% off your first order on g-scrub.com. It is for one order per customer, isn’t valid on Amazon or wholesale orders, can’t be combined with other offers, and the code expires 30 days after you sign up. When you use it we link the code to your order so it can’t be used twice. Your browser remembers that you saw the offer and your code, so the discount applies by itself at checkout.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; the order and shipping emails for purchases you make keep coming. Buying from us doesn’t add you to the list.

If you buy on Amazon or TikTok Shop

Those platforms handle your order under their own privacy policies.

• Amazon ships our Amazon orders from its own warehouses, so we don’t receive your address or payment details.
• We ship TikTok Shop orders ourselves. TikTok gives us the name and shipping address needed to send the package, and we use them only for that. We never see your payment details.

If you apply for or use a wholesale account

The wholesale portal is a real ordering system, so it collects more. When you apply, we collect and store your business details: legal business name and trade name, business type, business address, phone, website, the contact person’s name and role, the state that issued your resale certificate, and the certificate PDF you upload.

We never ask for your tax ID, EIN, or SSN on this website — there is deliberately no field for it. Your state resale certificate already contains it; that document is emailed to us and is not stored in our database.

When you place a wholesale order, we store the order itself: what you ordered, what you paid, the shipping address it goes to, and the tracking numbers for your boxes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what a given service needs to do its job:

• Stripe — processes payments for orders placed on this website and for wholesale orders, and calculates sales tax. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems.
• Shippo — buys the shipping labels for the orders we ship, which requires the recipient’s name and shipping address.
• USPS and other carriers — receive the name and address on the label so they can deliver the package.
• Neon — the database that stores orders placed on this website, wholesale accounts, applications, and orders, and email-list signups.
• Resend — sends our order, shipping, and email-list emails, including your welcome code.
• Vercel — hosts the website.
• Google Analytics — measures how the website is used.

When you click a link to Amazon or TikTok Shop, you leave our site, and that platform’s privacy policy applies to everything that happens there.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure how the site is used. We keep your cart, and the campaign tag of the link you arrived from, in your browser while you shop, so they’re still there when you come back. We also keep there whether you’ve seen the welcome offer and, if you claimed it, your code, so the discount applies by itself at checkout. When you pay, Stripe’s checkout page uses its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. If you sign in to a wholesale account, we also set a session cookie so you stay signed in; the portal can’t work without it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in.

Our site doesn’t respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How long we keep it

Email-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Records of orders placed on this website, and wholesale account, application, and order records, are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in any of them. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion — we’ll honor reasonable requests, except where we’re required to keep records (for example, completed orders and their tax records).

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
