Golf Stocking Stuffers That Actually Get Used
Small Christmas gifts for golfers that fit in a stocking and come out of the bag every round: club, grip and shoe cleaners, and how to pair them.
A golf stocking stuffer has two jobs. It has to fit in the stocking, and it has to be useful enough that it ends up in the golf bag instead of a drawer. Small cleaners do both. Every piece below comes in a bottle of about 4 oz, needs no sizing, and gets used every round.
The quick list
- Golf Club Foam Cleaner: for the golfer who wipes the clubface on their shirt.
- Golf Grip Cleaner: for the one who says the club slipped.
- Golf Fresh Spray, Mint or Mango: for golf shoes that ride home in the trunk. It helps control odor inside the shoe.
- Golf Shoe Deep Clean: for white shoes that came back from a wet course.
- Shoe Foam Cleaner: a quick foam for the upper between rounds.
Why a small cleaner works as a Christmas gift
Golfers are hard to shop for because the big things are personal: clubs, shafts, balls and gloves all depend on fit and taste. Care products do not. Every golfer has dirty grooves, grips that lose their feel and shoes that pick up grass and mud. A cleaner solves a problem they already have, and it is small enough to toss in a stocking next to the candy.
Pair two for a fuller stocking
- Clubs and grips: Club Foam Cleaner plus Grip Cleaner. They also come together as the Club Foam + Grip kit.
- Shoes: Shoe Foam Cleaner plus Fresh Spray Mint, one for the outside of the shoe and one for the inside. Together they are the Shoe Foam + Fresh Mint kit.
- The golfer who walks: Golf Shoe Deep Clean plus Fresh Spray Mango, for shoes that see a lot of wet grass.
